Judy and I met a few years ago because of our deep passion to pray for healing. A mutual friend of ours connected us so we could unearth ways to partner because of our amazingly similar passion for the Lord.
Recently she published a book, Help! I Have A Prodigal. It has AMAZING stories of healing and restoration. I reached out to see if she would be willing to share some of them with us. She passed along some unique stories. As you read them, I hope you are filled with HOPE, knowing our God never changes and will do it again. (Revelation 19:10)
STORY #1
This occurred in Guatemala. Maria came to receive healing for back pain. She said cortisone shots only stopped the pain for a couple of days.
She told me, “I had to make a choice of going to get a shot or coming to this prayer session. I am in so much pain right now, I don’t think I can last very long. I am hoping prayer will fix me.”
I responded, “Why don’t you ask Father God about this?”
After waiting for an answer, she stated, “God is telling me I need to forgive my mother-in-law.” She started to cry. She relayed many instances where her mother in-law and her husband’s family repetitively did things to make her feel rejected over the last thirty years. She felt excluded from family gift giving and women’s events. She experienced being criticized openly and ignored in conversations.
Her husband told her, “Just ignore it and hold your head up high. We are the only ones with successful and godly children.”
By now, in tears, she could hardly speak. I asked, “Are you willing to forgive them all, including your husband?”
She nodded. After speaking prayers of forgiveness, including especially hard details, she asked God to remove the burdens from her. We prayed a prayer together for Him to restore everything, including her dignity and value in His eyes. Upon doing this, she looked at me and stated in surprise, “I have no more back pain!”

STORY #2
A young man named Cole was brought by his parents for healing regarding on-going Lyme’s disease symptoms. Years earlier, he had been diagnosed and treated by specialists for a number of tick diseases including Lyme’s disease. After a course of antibiotics, he was told he was cured. Blood tests confirmed this.
Yet, he was still experiencing Lyme’s symptoms every month for three to four days. These symptoms were bad enough to keep him home from school. He had received prayer at church, but nothing had changed.
As I prayed for direction as the prayer session began, I felt the urge to offer a Jesus blood transfusion.
I put my hand into the crux of his elbow where blood is typically removed. I claimed the completed healing work of Jesus due to His death on the cross and resurrection from the dead. I asked for Jesus’s blood to enter his circulatory system. I commanded all sickness and disease to be found and eliminated in every tissue of the body.
After a few minutes, I ended the prayer time. Cole was unimpressed with the prayers and went out to the car as I conversed with his parents. His mother called back a few months later and stated the monthly sicknesses had completely stopped after the prayer time. She was thrilled with the healing that Jesus did. So was I!
