Spatial Spiritual Discernment

Have you ever walked into a park, building, or a room and felt the hair stand up on the back of your neck? Have you ever felt a strong sense of dread fall on you like you walked into a pool of yuck?

This story is all about discovering and discerning that “YUCK” feeling. God was showing me that Ephesians 6:12 is real. “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”
On the night this story takes place, He taught me, through my kids’ vision and prayer, How MIGHTY and POWERFUL He is and that He wants to partner with me in prayer to bring Heaven to Earth to dispel the agents of evil and that He will protect me.

Jesus at Valley Scare

McKenna and I were swiftly walking out of Valley Fair to miss the Valley Scare ghouls that only come out at night. Her eyes were closed and she was holding my hand as we walked by numerous scary creatures. However, one decided to torment her. He ran up to her and screamed, BOO!” in her face as loud as he could. It terrified her and I was furious.

Jesus, being the loving God that He is, is ALWAY with us (Matt 28:20), even during those scary times. I guided McKenna through a prayer of asking Jesus where He was during that scary encounter and she wasn’t afraid anymore. Jesus showed her how He protected her. He can do the same for you. He is the same yesterday, today and FOREVER!

Experiencing Heaven’s Power at Valley Fair

Watching the power that is given to me (and all believers) as a Child of God play out in front of me is always crazy amazing. The Lord had been teaching me about how to pray His blessings over people to change situations. I had only been praying this way for my family, but as I encountered a situation at Valley Fair I wondered if praying a blessing over a couple I did not know would have an immediate impact. It DID!
However, the enemy was not happy with me and tried to intimidate me to stop praying. His tactics had the opposite effect. It brought me closer to God and a testimony I will never forget.
